FFEH3054U
Frigidaire FFEH3054U Five-Element Range Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Front knobs and switches for each of the five elements
- Flexible element sections heating together and apart
- Quick Boil element speed
- Oven bake and broil heat
The FFEH3054U is a 30 in front control freestanding electric range with a Built-In Look, a flexible five element cooktop and Quick Boil. Versions ending in UB, US and UW are sold as well. Frigidaire lists it as discontinued, so it is an older model that families have held on to.
A flexible cooktop lets one element change its size or pair with another, which means more switches and more connections behind the knobs than on a plain four-element range. When one section goes cold, we test each section of the element and its switch rather than replacing the whole top. Quick Boil is a high-power setting on one element, and we check that it draws what it should.
The oven gets the usual tests of the bake and broil elements and the temperature sensor. Where an older range costs too much to fix, we tell you plainly. The label supplies the model and serial before any part is ordered, you see a written price first, and our work has a 30-day warranty.

Error codes this model can show
The center element on my FFEH3054U heats only at one size. What is wrong?
A flexible element has more than one section, each with its own connection and switch path. We test each section and the switch to see which one is not getting power.
Why do all five elements feel slow to heat?
If all of them are slow, we look at the supply: the breaker, the plug and the terminal block. If only one is slow, the element or its switch is the likely cause.
What does the Built-In Look mean for service?
It describes how the range sits in the kitchen, with front controls. We still slide it out to reach the plug and wiring. We take care of your counters and floor while we do.
