FDSP4401A
Frigidaire FDSP4401A DishSense Dishwasher Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Cycle length or water use that seems wrong for a given load
- Sanitize option that does not reach the expected heat
- Dishes that stay damp after the dry phase
- Sensor reading that never changes
- Pump or drain problem that leaves water in the tub
The FDSP4401A is a 24-inch built-in Frigidaire dishwasher with a stainless steel tub, an NSF certified sanitize option, DishSense sensor technology and the EvenDry system. The variant FDSP4401AS exists too.
A sanitize option relies on heat, so if the cycle does not seem to finish or the dishes feel cool, we test the heating element, the thermostat and the control. If the DishSense sensor is not adjusting cycles, we check the sensor and its wiring along with the board. For damp dishes, we test the element and the drain together, since leftover water keeps everything wet.
A written quote comes first, every time. We copy the full model and serial from the label before ordering parts, and if the dishwasher is past a sensible repair we tell you so. Our work has a 30-day warranty.

Error codes this model can show
What would stop the sanitize option from working?
A weak heating element, a bad thermostat or a control problem can keep the water from reaching temperature. We test each with a meter and give you the result and a price in writing.
How do I know if the sensor has failed?
If cycle length or water use never changes with the load, the sensor or its wiring may be the cause. We test the sensor and the board before replacing either.
Is FDSP4401AS the same dishwasher?
It is a variant of this model. Because revisions can differ, we read the full number from the label and match parts to that exact revision.
