PCFI3080A
Frigidaire PCFI3080A Induction Range Repair

Most common issues on this model
- Induction element response and pan detection on each zone
- Cooling fan noise under the cooktop
- Convection fan and oven fan noise
- Touch control response and error display
Frigidaire lists the PCFI3080A as a Professional 30-inch induction range with No Preheat, Air Fry and a Total Convection System. An Air Fry Tray is included, and the cooktop is described as easy to clean. Look for PCFI3080AF as well, which is the same range.
Induction heats the pan directly through a coil under the glass, so the cooktop can fail in ways a coil range never does: a zone may not detect the pan, shut off mid-cook or hum loudly. We check the pan first, then the cooling fan, the connections to that zone and the control. We also test the oven side, where Air Fry and No Preheat depend on the convection fan, elements and sensor.
Induction control parts are matched by serial, so the label is the first thing we read. The quote is written and approved by you before work starts, and our workmanship carries a 30-day warranty.

One induction zone on my PCFI3080A will not turn on. What do you check?
First that the pan is magnetic and flat, then the zone's connection, the cooling fan and the control. If the pan works on another zone, we test the coil and its supply.
Why is my range fan so loud when the cooktop is on?
Induction electronics need airflow, so a cooling fan runs under the glass. A worn fan or lint buildup makes noise, and a stalled fan can shut the zone down to protect it.
Is cracked cooktop glass a repair job?
Yes, though it needs the exact model from the label to order the right glass. We give you a written price first, and say plainly if replacing the range makes more sense.
