FPRU19F8W
Frigidaire FPRU19F8W EvenTemp Refrigerator Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Crisper drawers that do not seal or collect water
- Produce that wilts or freezes
- Uneven shelf temperatures
- Door that does not close squarely
Look at the FPRU19F8W if you want 19 cu. ft. in a single-door refrigerator with a Professional design, an EvenTemp Cooling System and CrispSeal Plus crispers with auto humidity, also sold as FPRU19F8WF. It is not marked as an older model.
Crispers are where most owners notice problems: wilted or frozen produce, or water in the drawer. We check the drawer seal and the drain, then the fan and the thermostat that set shelf temperature. Because the number looks like the FPRU19F8R, we confirm the exact version from the label before ordering a part. Door alignment and gaskets come next.
A few versions of this refrigerator look the same from the front, so we copy the plate before ordering a part. The price is written first, and the repair is covered for 30 days.

Error codes this model can show
Why does my produce freeze?
The thermostat may be set too cold, or cold air may be blowing straight at the drawer. We measure the temperature and test the control.
What is auto humidity?
It is a crisper feature. We check the drawer seal and the drain so moisture does not collect, and we do not guess how the control works beyond that.
Is this the same as the FPRU19F8R?
The capacity matches, but the features and parts differ. We read the label and match the part. The two share a capacity and a Professional design, but their listed features differ, so we do not swap parts between them.
