FGRC064WA
Frigidaire FGRC064WA Smart AC Repair
Most common issues on this model
- App pairing and panel response
- Filter and evaporator coil airflow
- Fan motor and sheet metal rattles
- Condensate drain and window seal
The FGRC064WA is a Gallery 6,000 BTU Cool Connect window air conditioner that you can control from anywhere through an app and with voice assistants. It is an older model now, and you will see it in Houston bedrooms and small offices where one compact unit handles the whole room.
The smart controls add a few checks to ordinary window unit service. We confirm the unit responds from its panel, then test whether the board keeps its connection. For cooling problems we work through the filter, the coil, the fan and the window seal before we ever look at the compressor.
This number is also sold as FGRC064WA1 or FGRC064WAE, so we read the full model and serial from the label before ordering a part. You get a written price before work, and we offer a 30-day workmanship warranty on the repair. We will say so if an older unit is not worth repairing.

Error codes this model can show
Can you fix the app or voice control on this unit?
We test whether the unit works from its own panel and whether the control board holds its connection. If the board is the cause, we quote it in writing. Network setup at home is separate.
Why is a small window unit making a rattling noise?
A loose fan blade, a vibrating panel or a bad fan motor are the usual causes. We tighten and inspect what we can, test the motor, and quote any part before we replace it.
Which variants does this model have?
This model is also sold as FGRC064WA1 and FGRC064WAE. We still read the number from your label, because the right part can depend on the exact revision.
