What LC means

LC appears on Frigidaire air conditioners that have separate indoor and outdoor sections, such as split and inverter systems with a digital display. It means the indoor and outdoor sections have lost communication with each other. The two halves must exchange signals to run, so with LC the system may not start or may stop mid-cycle. The cooling circuit itself is not named by this code.
