FGPC1244T
Frigidaire Gallery FGPC1244T 12,000 BTU Smart AC Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Wi-Fi control and panel response
- Window kit seal and exhaust hose routing
- Filter and coil buildup that slows cooling
- Drain tray or condensate pump behavior
The FGPC1244T is a Gallery 12,000 BTU Cool Connect portable air conditioner with Wi-Fi control. It is an older model that still cools rooms across Houston, from open living areas to garage conversions, and it comes with a low-profile window kit so the hose can run out of a sliding or double-hung window.
For a unit that is meant to cool a room quickly, we check how well it actually moves heat out. That means the window kit seal, the hose, the filter and the coil, then the fan and compressor. If the app or the panel stops responding, we test the control side separately so you are not paying for a part you do not need.
This number is also sold as FGPC1244T1 or FGPC1244TE. We read the complete model and serial from the label before ordering anything, quote the price in writing, and back the repair with a 30-day workmanship warranty.

Error codes this model can show
The app shows the unit offline. Is that a repair?
Sometimes it is a network or pairing issue, and sometimes the control board has failed. We test the unit from its own panel first, then the board, and tell you which it is before quoting a repair.
Why does this portable unit take so long to cool a room?
Usually the hose or window kit is leaking hot air back in, or the filter and coil are clogged. We check those first, then the fan and the compressor, and give you a written price.
Are FGPC1244T1 and FGPC1244TE the same unit?
They are listed as variants of the same model. Parts can still depend on the revision, so we read the full number and serial from the label before ordering anything.
