What E95 means

E95 is a communication error on Frigidaire front-load washers with the horizontal-axis electronic control. It covers the 3.0 cu ft Frigidaire and Gallery washers of about 2004 to 2006 and the Affinity 6000 and 7000 series. The control boards inside the washer must talk to each other to run the cycle, and E95 says that conversation has broken down. Owners see a washer that stops partway through a cycle, will not start or loses its display, with E95 on the screen. It is related to the E5D to E5F communication codes.
