GCRE3070B
Frigidaire Gallery GCRE3070B Electric Range, Stone-Baked Pizza Repair

Most common issues on this model
- Bake element heat under the pizza stone
- Total Convection fan operation
- Sensor accuracy against actual heat
- Cooktop switches and terminals
The GCRE3070B is a Frigidaire Gallery 30-inch electric range with Stone-Baked Pizza. A Pizza Shield, stone and peel are included. It has the Total Convection System and a five element cooktop, and it is also sold as GCRE3070BF.
A pizza stone needs steady heat from the bottom of the oven, so the bake element and the sensor come first. If crusts brown on top but stay pale underneath, we look at the element and compare the oven’s reading with a separate thermometer. The convection fan is next, because it moves the heat that browns the top. We also check how the stone and racks sit, since a crooked stone can touch the oven wall.
We service current ranges like this pizza stone model. The tag gives the model and serial we use for parts, and you receive a written price before work starts. If repair is not the better spend, we tell you. For the next 30 days, our workmanship is covered.

Error codes this model can show
My GCRE3070B pizza burns on top but is pale below. Why?
The bake element may be weak, or the sensor may be reading wrong. We test both and compare against a thermometer, and we check that the stone sits flat.
Is the pizza stone covered when you service the oven?
We remove it to test the oven and put it back afterward. If it has cracked or is rubbing the oven, we show you before suggesting anything.
Do five cooktop elements share one switch?
No. Each has its own switch and terminal. That is why one cold element is usually a small repair and does not mean the cooktop is done.
