FPBC2277RF
Frigidaire FPBC2277RF French Door Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Door temperature display against the real cabinet temperature
- PowerGlide freezer drawer rails and basket
- Evaporator fan and defrost parts
- Water and ice parts, when a dispenser is fitted
The FPBC2277RF is a Professional counter-depth French door refrigerator, 21.6 cubic feet and 36 inches wide. It has a digital temperature display on the door and a PowerGlide freezer drawer. The model is discontinued and counts as an earlier Professional unit, which we still service for Houston owners.
Because the temperature display sits on the door, we compare what it shows with the real air temperature in both sections. If they differ, a sensor or the control may be off. We also look at the PowerGlide drawer, which should roll out smoothly on its rails. When the freezer or the fresh food side runs warm, we test the evaporator fan, the defrost system and the condenser.
The whole number on the label comes first, ahead of any order. Our price is written out, and we are honest when an older refrigerator is not worth repairing. When we do the work, the labor is under warranty for 30 days.

Error codes this model can show
The display shows a normal temperature but the food is warm. Why?
The display reads a sensor, not the whole cabinet. We measure the real temperature with our own thermometer, then check the evaporator fan, the airflow and the defrost parts to see where the cooling stops.
My freezer drawer is hard to slide. Can you fix it?
Yes. We clean the rails, check that the basket sits properly on its guides and replace worn rollers or tracks if needed. We also check the freezer door seal while the drawer is out.
Do you service older Professional-line refrigerators?
Yes. Parts for your label number are confirmed first, the price is given in writing, and if a replacement makes more sense for a refrigerator this age, we say it directly.
