FGID2468U
Frigidaire Gallery FGID2468U Dishwasher Repair
Most common issues on this model
- One or both OrbitClean arms that do not spin
- Quick wash that leaves dishes dirty
- Pump that is weak or noisy
- Dry results that are poor
- Water that stays in the tub
The FGID2468U is a Gallery line, 24-inch built-in dishwasher with a Dual OrbitClean wash system and a 34-minute quick wash. It is an older model, and versions ending in D and F are listed too.
With two OrbitClean arms, a dishwasher of this type can clean well on one arm and poorly on the other, so we check each arm’s spin, holes and water feed. The quick wash needs strong flow in a short time, so a dirty filter or a weak pump shows up there first. For poor drying, we test the heating element and the drain.
Our quote is written before work begins, and we say honestly when a replacement is the better buy. The full label number lets us match the arms and other parts, and the repair is covered by a 30-day workmanship warranty.

Error codes this model can show
Why is only the top rack dirty?
The upper arm may be blocked, or weak pump flow may not reach it. We clear it and test how much water arrives at each arm.
Why does the quick wash fail more than the normal cycle?
A short cycle has less time to make up for weak spray or a slow fill. We check the filter, the pump and the inlet valve to see which is limiting it.
Do the D and F versions use the same arms?
Not necessarily. Revisions of one model can differ in small ways, so we read the full label and serial and match the arms and every other part to your exact number before we order anything.
