The FFEH3051V is a 30 in front control electric range with a Quick Boil Element and a SpaceWise expandable element. It is described as giving a kitchen a built-in look, and the FFEH3051VS version is listed too. Frigidaire shows it as discontinued, so it is an older range.
With the controls on the front, there is no back panel, so the range can sit closer to the counters and look more like a built-in. That also means the switches and the oven control sit behind the front panel, where heat and spills reach them. When a knob does not respond or the oven control is slow, we remove the panel to look at the switches and connections.

Why does my front control range need the panel removed to be repaired?
The switches and control sit behind the front panel. We remove it to test them directly. We also use that time to look for burned connections and heat damage.
The expandable element on my FFEH3051V only heats the small ring. Why?
The outer ring has a separate connection and switch contact. We test both. Often the outer section of the element or the switch has failed.
Does a built-in look change how you service the range?
The range is still freestanding, but it fits close to the counters. We take care when sliding it out so we do not damage countertops or the power connection.
