PCFD3668A
Frigidaire Professional PCFD3668A Dual-Fuel Range, 36-Inch Dual Fan Convection Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Dual Fan Convection: both fans and the heat they move
- Six burner ignition and flame
- Electric oven bake element and sensor
- Temperature probe jack and LED knob lighting
The PCFD3668A is a Frigidaire Professional 36-inch dual-fuel freestanding range. It has Dual Fan Convection, a six burner cooktop, bright backlit LED knobs and a temperature probe.
A dual-fuel range runs on gas at the cooktop and on electric heat in the oven, so it needs both a gas line and a 240-volt outlet. With Dual Fan Convection, we check that both fans turn and that the oven’s bake element and sensor hold the right temperature. On the cooktop, each of the six burners has a cap, port and electrode to test. If a backlit knob goes dark or the probe is not read, we check the wiring and the jack.
This Professional dual-fuel range has been discontinued, but it is still cooking in many homes, and we repair it. We read the tag for the model and serial, give a written price before we start, and tell you honestly if a repair is not worth it. Workmanship carries a 30-day warranty from the day we finish.

Error codes this model can show
One of the two fans in my PCFD3668A oven does not turn. What happens?
We check which fan is silent, whether it gets power, and whether the blade is stuck. Two fans can mask each other, so we test them separately before replacing one.
What does a dual-fuel range need to run?
A gas supply for the cooktop and a 240-volt circuit for the oven. If one side stops working, we know which supply to check first.
A backlit knob on my range went dark. Is it the knob?
It can be the light, the wiring to it, or the knob itself. We test the connection first, then replace only the part that fails, with a written price beforehand.
