The FFES3026T is a 30 in slide-in electric range with Even Baking Technology, One-Touch Self Clean and Quick Boil. It is also sold as FFES3026TB, FFES3026TS and FFES3026TW. Frigidaire lists it as discontinued, so it is an older range, though slide-in ranges tend to stay in a kitchen a long time because they are fitted to the cabinets.
A slide-in range has no raised back panel, so the controls are on the front, and the cooktop edge overlaps the counter. Let the oven cool completely. If the door is still locked, do not force it. We test the lock motor and the switch that senses the latch.
Can a front control knob be replaced separately?
Yes, the knobs are separate parts and are easy to swap. If a new knob still does not control the element, then we test the switch behind it and its wiring.
