What does the Ice Full light mean when the basket is empty?
That light follows the sensing that tells the machine to stop making ice. If the basket is seated badly, the sensor area is dirty or the sensor has gone bad, the light can stay on. We look at the basket and the sensor first.
Why are the cubes from my compact ice maker cloudy or small?
Cloudy cubes often point to mineral content in the water or a short fill. Small cubes can come from a low reservoir level or a cooling side that is running weak. We test the fill first, then the freezing performance.
Does the stainless finish change how the unit is repaired?
