PRDA1922A
Frigidaire Professional PRDA1922A Refrigerator Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Shelves that vary in temperature
- Crispers that fog or collect water
- Door that does not seal on the hinge side
- Compressor that runs long
Built as a single-door refrigerator of 19 cu. ft., the PRDA1922A comes with a Professional design, an EvenTemp Cooling System and CrispSeal Plus crispers with auto humidity, also sold as PRDA1922AF.
EvenTemp suggests a focus on keeping the same temperature everywhere, so uneven shelves tell us the fan or air path needs attention. We measure several shelves, check the fan and look for covered vents. Crispers get a seal and drain check. If the compressor runs long, we clean the condenser and test the start parts, then the thermostat.
Because the freezer partner PRDF1922A looks the same from the front, we also check that the plate matches before ordering anything. The price is written first, and the work carries a 30-day warranty.

What do you do if shelves vary in temperature?
We measure several points, then check the fan, the vents and the thermostat. If one shelf runs warmer than another, we also check that food is not covering the vents, which is an easy fix.
Why are the crispers foggy?
Moisture is getting in or the drain is clogged. We check the drawer seal and drain. Foggy crispers often mean moisture is not draining, so we clear the drain and test the humidity seal on the drawer.
Is this the freezer version?
No, the freezer is the PRDF1922A. They look alike but have different cooling parts. The PRDF1922A is the freezer, while this PRDA1922A is the refrigerator, so we never mix parts between them.
