Frigidaire PRMC2290B Professional Four-Door Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Custom-Flex drawer temperature and air feed
- Crisper seals
- Gaskets on four doors
- Freezer drawer frost
Frigidaire’s Professional line includes the PRMC2290B, a counter-depth French door refrigerator with four doors and 22 cubic feet. The listing names a Custom-Flex Temp Drawer, Impressive Storage Capacity, Best-In-Class Crisper Technology and the SpaceWise Organization System. You may also see it sold under the number PRMC2290BF.
With four doors, this refrigerator gives you separate places for fresh food, drinks and frozen items, and it also gives you four gaskets to look after. One gasket that has hardened can warm a whole section, so we check every one. The Custom-Flex drawer has its own temperature selection, which we test across its range. Afterward we look at the crispers and at frost in the freezer drawer.
Expect us to read the rating sticker for model and serial before we order. A written price comes first, and a 30-day warranty comes with the work.

Error codes this model can show
Which gasket matters most on a four-door refrigerator?
All four can leak cold air, so we test each of them. The one nearest the warm section often shows wear first, but only a test tells us which one it is.
My PRMC2290B Custom-Flex drawer is warmer than its setting. What now?
We confirm the selection first, then the air opening and the control for the drawer. A blocked opening or a weak control is a typical cause of that.
Why is there frost in the freezer drawer?
Frost means warm air is entering or the defrost parts are not doing their job. We check the drawer gasket first and then the defrost system.
