GRMC2273B
Frigidaire GRMC2273B Four-Door Refrigerator Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Custom-Flex drawer temperature setting and air feed
- Crisper freshness settings and seals
- Gaskets on all four doors
- Fridge and freezer sections holding temperature
The GRMC2273B is a Frigidaire Gallery four-door French door refrigerator in a counter-depth shape, with 21.5 cubic feet. Its feature list includes Best-In-Class Crisper Freshness Technology, a Custom-Flex Temp Drawer and the SpaceWise Organization System. The family also includes GRMC2273BD and GRMC2273BF.
Four doors mean four gaskets, and each one can wear differently. When a customer tells us the fridge is cool but not cold, we check every seal with a light and a strip of paper before looking deeper. The Custom-Flex drawer is its own zone, so a drawer that will not hold the temperature you set is tested separately from the main compartments.
Because counter-depth refrigerators sit close to cabinets, we leave room to slide the unit out and keep the water line from kinking. Before choosing any part we copy the model and serial off the rating label. Expect a written price ahead of the work and a 30-day warranty behind it.

Error codes this model can show
The Custom-Flex drawer in my GRMC2273B is too cold. What do you test?
Check the selected setting first, then the air opening and the control for that drawer. If the setting and the opening are right, the temperature sensor or control gets checked next.
Does a four-door fridge have more to go wrong than a two-door?
It has more seals and more drawers, so there are more places for air to leak. That does not mean it fails more often. It means we check all four doors before blaming the cooling system.
The label shows GRMC2273BF. Is that my model?
Yes, it belongs to the GRMC2273B family. Trailing letters mark a finish or version, so parts get matched to the complete number on your label.
