FGHB2869L
Frigidaire FGHB2869L Pearl-White Refrigerator Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Temperature of each section, drawer included
- Ice maker and water filter flow, if equipped
- Door gaskets and drawer seal
- Fan, damper and defrost parts on the cooling side
In Pearl White, the FGHB2869L gives you 27.8 cu. ft. in the Gallery French door style. The same number is sold as FGHB2869LE, FGHB2869LF and FGHB2869LP, so the label on your unit may carry one of those endings. It has been discontinued and is now an older model.
A white or Pearl White finish is common in kitchens that match older appliances, and it does not change how we service the unit. We begin with the temperature of each section, then look at the freezer drawer and door gaskets, because both let warm air in when they do not seal. Slow ice or water points us to the filter and inlet valve if the unit has an ice maker. We finish with the condenser area and the evaporator fan.
The technician checks the label for the exact number before ordering parts. You approve the written price, and the work comes with a 30-day guarantee.

Error codes this model can show
My FGHB2869L label ends in a different letter than FGHB2869L. Is it the same refrigerator?
Likely yes. Endings such as LE, LF and LP are variants of the model, usually a different finish or revision. We read the full label to match parts exactly.
Why does a French door refrigerator need its drawer seal checked?
A freezer drawer that does not seal lets warm, moist air in, which frosts the freezer and can warm the unit. We check the basket, track and gasket.
Do you service refrigerators that are out of production?
Yes. We repair many discontinued models. We confirm the label, quote the price in writing and say plainly if the repair does not make sense for the age.
