On newer Frigidaire and Frigidaire Gallery dishwashers with a status window, such as models GDPP4517AF and FGID2466QF, the message CLOSE DOOR scrolls once across the window after you press Start or Cancel with the door not latched. It is a prompt rather than an error. The dishwasher is telling you it cannot begin until the door is closed properly, so close it right away to continue.
