UMBW3011A
Frigidaire UMBW3011A Drawer Microwave Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Drawer motion that is rough or uneven
- Touch panel that does not wake up
- No heat though the drawer closes
- Door switch behavior that keeps it from starting
The UMBW3011A is the wider cousin of the 24-inch drawer microwave: a Professional 30-inch built-in drawer unit with an IllumiTouch control panel and a smooth-glide drawer. It is a current model, and you may see it as UMBW3011AS.
A wider drawer carries more weight when it is full, which puts more load on the slides and the track. We check that motion first, then the way the drawer closes against its switches. After that we test the panel and, when the food stays cold, the high-voltage parts. The width also tells us what opening the cabinet has, so we look at the installation as well.
Do not mix this one up with the 24-inch version, since the numbers are close but the parts differ. We read the whole label before ordering. Our price is written for your approval, and workmanship is guaranteed for 30 days.

How is the 30-inch drawer different from the 24-inch version?
Mostly the width. The parts are not interchangeable, so we use the full number from your label. The repair steps are similar, with extra attention to the slides under a wider drawer.
The panel will not turn on. What do you test?
We check power to the unit, the connection to the panel and the panel itself. If the board has failed, we quote it separately. We never replace it without telling you first.
Can the drawer be adjusted if it closes crooked?
Often yes. We inspect the slides and the mounting, and a small adjustment may be enough. If a slide is bent or worn, we replace it and give you the price in advance.
