FGET2765P
Frigidaire FGET2765P Double Oven Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Even heating between the top and bottom racks in each oven
- Oven sensor reading against a test thermometer
- Bake element glow and broil element glow
- Display and clock behavior after a power flicker
The FGET2765P is a Gallery double wall oven from Frigidaire: 27 inches wide, electric, black finish. You may also see it written FGET2765PB, FGET2765PF or FGET2765PW. It is an older model, and plenty of homes in our area still use one every day.
We start a visit by running each oven to a set temperature and comparing the result to a test thermometer. Cakes that brown unevenly or a roast that takes longer than it used to point us toward the sensor or a weakening element. On a double oven we test the top and bottom cavities separately, since they do not always fail together.
A display that resets after a power flicker or shows a blank clock is another thing we check on this style of control. Parts for older wall ovens can take longer to arrive, and we say so before you decide. We confirm the full number and serial off the data label before ordering, quote the price in writing, and back the work with a 30-day workmanship warranty.

Error codes this model can show
My FGET2765P bakes unevenly. What causes that?
Usually a tired bake element, a sensor reading off, or a cooling issue that confuses the control. We compare the oven temperature to a test thermometer, then check the element and sensor before suggesting a part.
Do both ovens share one set of parts?
They share the control panel, but each cavity has its own elements and sensor. That is why we can often fix one oven and leave the other alone.
Will parts be hard to find for an older double oven?
Common items such as elements, sensors and latches are often available, but timing varies. We check availability from the label before booking the repair and tell you the wait up front.
