FFEW2726T
Frigidaire FFEW2726T Wall Oven Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Cakes that brown unevenly
- Oven that does not preheat fully
- Broil that stays dark
- Clean cycle that does not delay or start
The FFEW2726T is a 27-inch single electric wall oven. Its listed features are Even Baking Technology, self-cleaning, Vari-Broil temperature control and a delay clean option, and it is sold as FFEW2726TB, FFEW2726TS and FFEW2726TW. Frigidaire has discontinued it, but many are still in daily use.
On a single oven, we start with a preheat test and an oven thermometer, because the display alone cannot tell us if the temperature is right. Uneven browning sends us to the bake element and the sensor, and a dark broil element leads to its wiring and the control. A cleaning cycle that will not start or delay usually involves the door lock and the clock.
A 27-inch oven is built into a cabinet, and the trim is part of the kitchen, so we handle it carefully. The label tells us what to order. After we diagnose it, you get a written price, and we give 30 days of warranty on the repair.

Error codes this model can show
Why does my oven not preheat all the way?
A weak element or a sensor that is reading wrong can stop it short. We measure the actual temperature, then test the element and the sensor.
How is FFEW2726T different from the double version?
It has one cavity instead of two. The features are similar, but the parts are not interchangeable, so we check the whole number on your label.
Does a delay clean problem mean the oven is unsafe?
Not on its own. It usually points to the lock, the clock or the board. We test those and tell you if the oven can be used safely in the meantime.
