Does the pizza stone cause problems in a combination unit?
Only if it blocks airflow. We check the placement and the fan, then test the heating parts. A stone left on the bottom of the cavity can also hold heat in and slow the sensor reading.
My microwave stops when the oven runs hot. Why?
The cooling fan or the vents may be limiting airflow, and the unit shuts a section down to protect itself. We test the fan and the vent path.
