What E3 means
When a Frigidaire wine cooler or beverage center with an electronic control shows E3, the evaporator sensor is reading as shorted. A short produces a number that is too low to be real, so the control thinks the cold coil is much colder than it is and may cut cooling back. You may see E3 on the display, a cabinet that is not as cold as it should be or bottles that run warm. The short can be in the sensor, in its wire or at the connector.
