The GLET1142F is another Gallery electric laundry center, listed with a white finish and a stacked washer and dryer. It sits close to the GLET1031F in the lineup, but the number is different, so we never assume parts are interchangeable. The tag on some units reads GLET1142FS. It is no longer in production, though plenty of Houston homes built with a laundry closet still have one.

The washer fills slowly. What could it be?
Debris in the inlet screens or a tired water valve is the usual cause. We close the supply, rinse the screens and test the valve coil before anything gets replaced.
Is a discontinued stack still worth a service call?
Often it is, as long as parts can be found at a sensible price. When the cabinet or tub is too worn to justify the money, we would rather tell you before you commit.
