The PCCI3680A is a 36-inch Professional induction cooktop with a 5,200-watt PowerPlus burner, a 2-in-1 bridge element and PrecisionPro controls. Its 30-inch counterpart is the PCCI3080A, and an F ending marks its finish version.
This is one of the higher-output induction cooktops we see, so we pay close attention to supply and cooling. A breaker that trips when several zones run, or a cooktop that cuts out, is checked from the circuit through the fan to the board. For a dead zone, the coil and its driver come first.
A drawer or cabinet pressed against the underside can limit airflow, so we look at clearances as well. We read the label to match the board, tell you the cost in writing and start only once you agree.

Why does my cooktop drop out when I use several zones?
Several zones at high power increase both heat and electrical load. We check the breaker, the fan, the vents and then the board, and report which part has failed.
Do I need to leave space under an induction cooktop?
The fan needs air to cool the electronics, so we look for stored items that block the vents. Clearing the space often helps, and we check the fan too.
