PCCI3080A
Frigidaire PCCI3080A Induction Cooktop Repair

Most common issues on this model
- PowerPlus burner shutting off at full output
- Bridge element heating only half
- PrecisionPro controls that do not respond
- Fan and vents under the glass
The PCCI3080A is a 30-inch Professional induction cooktop with a 5,200-watt PowerPlus burner, a 2-in-1 bridge element and PrecisionPro controls.
A 5,200-watt burner pushes the electronics hard, so a cooktop that shuts a zone down at full output is first checked for heat: fan, vents and the circuit feeding it. If those are clear, the board that drives that burner is tested. The bridge element is checked as two separate zones and then as a pair.
PrecisionPro controls are touch based, so we clean the panel and retest before suggesting a replacement. The label tells us which board and panel apply, and you see the price in writing before any part is ordered.

Why does my 5,200-watt burner cut out?
Full-output cooking creates heat, and the cooktop may limit itself. We check the fan, the vents and the supply, then test the board for that burner.
What if only half of the bridge element heats?
One coil, or the board channel that drives it, may have failed. We test each half separately and then as a pair to find where the problem is.
Do PrecisionPro controls need special care?
They are touch based, so keep the panel clean and dry. If they still miss presses after cleaning, we test the panel and its connection to the board.
