The FGMV155CT is a Gallery over-the-range microwave of 1.5 cu. ft. with a convection option, sensor cooking, cooktop LED lighting and interior LED lighting. The same number is sold as FGMV155CTD and FGMV155CTF, and it is a discontinued model that is still in many homes.

Why does my microwave work but the convection side does not?
The two modes use different parts. Convection needs its own element, fan and safety thermostat. We test those in turn, since the microwave side working tells us the door switches and power supply are fine.
Can the interior LED be replaced on its own?
Usually yes, if the lamp or its socket is the problem. We check the power to the light first and then replace only what failed, with the price in writing.
