GCCI3667A
Frigidaire GCCI3667A Induction Cooktop Repair

Most common issues on this model
- TempLock holding a temperature poorly
- Bridge element that heats unevenly
- Zones that ignore cookware
- Fan noise and shutdowns
The GCCI3667A is a 36-inch Gallery induction cooktop with faster boil times, TempLock for consistent temperature and a convenient bridge element.
TempLock is Frigidaire’s name for holding a steady temperature, so a cooktop that swings or shuts off during a simmer gets a sensor and board check. For the bridge element, we test the two zones apart and together. Cookware is always part of the first test: we use a known good pan on each zone.
Since this cooktop is wide, we also confirm that the cooling fan has room and that the supply circuit matches the unit. The model on the label tells us which board applies. We explain the cost in writing and wait for your approval.

What is TempLock?
It is a marketing name for holding a steady temperature. For service, it means we check the sensor and the board if the cooktop cannot keep a simmer or keeps shutting off.
Why does my bridge element heat unevenly?
One coil may be weaker than the other, or the link between them may be failing. We test each coil on its own and then together, and give you the price in writing.
Why do I hear a fan after cooking?
Induction cooktops run a fan to cool the electronics, sometimes after cooking stops. If it is loud or never stops, we inspect the fan and the airflow around it.
