GCCG3047A
Frigidaire Gallery GCCG3047A Cooktop Repair

Most common issues on this model
- Brass power burner that lights unevenly
- Igniters clicking without catching
- Grates that shift and tilt pans
- LED backlit knobs and valve feel
The GCCG3047A is a 30-inch Gallery gas cooktop with a flexible brass power burner, continuous grates and LED backlit knobs. An S ending marks the stainless version.
Brass burners hold up well, but their ports can still clog, and the flexible power burner has a larger flame pattern that shows blockage quickly. We clean and inspect it first, then test the igniter. Because the grates run across the whole top, we also check that they sit flat, since a rocking grate can tilt a pan over the flame and be mistaken for a burner problem.
If a knob turns but the burner stays silent, the valve or the spark module is the next test. We take the model and serial from the label before ordering parts, and we explain the cost before we do the work.

What is a flexible power burner?
Frigidaire describes it as a burner built for high heat with flexible use. For service, we treat it as the high-output burner and check its ports and igniter first when boil times slow down.
Why do my grates wobble?
A grate may be placed wrong or one foot may be out of its seat. We reseat it and check the cooktop for warping. A tilted pan can look like a bad flame.
Can LED backlit knobs fail separately?
Yes, the light is a small separate circuit. If the knob does not light but the burner works, the cooktop is still usable and we can quote the lighting part separately.
