The GCCE3070B is a 30-inch Gallery electric cooktop with five elements, a PowerPlus element and backlit LED knobs.
This is a close relative of the GCCE3070A, but with a PowerPlus element in place of the EvenTemp one, so the parts and the first test are different. On the PowerPlus element we measure the coil and its terminal first when boil times grow. For any of the other four, we trace the problem from the switch to the element.
Five-element cooktops are common in homes where the cook runs several pots at once, which can reveal weak connections that a lighter use hides. We confirm the model on the label, tell you the cost, and wait for your approval.

What is the difference between the GCCE3070A and GCCE3070B?
They share the five-element layout, but the A lists an EvenTemp element and the B lists a PowerPlus element. That changes which part we order, so we read the label first.
Why does the PowerPlus element heat slowly?
A worn coil, a burned terminal or a failing switch can cut output. We check each in turn, so you are quoted only for the part that needs replacing.
Why does a burner light stay on after I turn it off?
The surface may still be warm, which is normal. If the light remains on once the glass is cool, the indicator circuit needs a test. We check the surface temperature first.
